Sports Card Alerts is an automated monitoring service that tracks eBay listings for sports cards you're interested in. Instead of manually searching eBay multiple times a day, our system scans automatically every 30 minutes and sends you email notifications when matching cards are listed.

Simply create an alert by specifying the player name, year, set, and any other criteria (like PSA grade or price range). Our system automatically searches eBay every 30 minutes and emails you when new matching listings appear. You can set alerts to notify you instantly, in daily digests, or weekly summaries.

Yes! The free tier allows you to create up to 10 alerts with full access to all features including instant notifications, price analytics, and current listings tracking. We plan to offer premium tiers in the future for users who need more than 10 alerts.

We support all major sports: Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey. You can create alerts for cards from any of these sports.

Our system scans eBay every 30 minutes, 24/7. This means you'll typically see new listings within 30 minutes of them being posted on eBay.

You can choose from four notification frequencies for each alert:

• Instant: Get an email immediately when a matching card is listed (best for high-priority cards)
• Daily Digest: Receive one email per day at 8 AM with all matches from the previous day
• Weekly Digest: Get one email every Monday at 8 AM with the week's matches
• Paused: Track listings but don't send notifications (useful when you're taking a break)

Yes! You can filter by specific PSA grades and choose whether you want exact matches (only PSA 10) or minimum grades (PSA 8 and above). This ensures you only see cards that meet your grading requirements.

Absolutely. You can set minimum and maximum price filters for each alert. This is particularly useful for avoiding overpriced listings or focusing on deals within your budget.

From your dashboard, each alert has Edit and Delete buttons. You can modify any aspect of your alert including search criteria, notification frequency, or filters. You can also quickly pause/resume alerts without deleting them.

For each alert, you can view:

• Price trends over time (with interactive charts)
• Grade distribution (how many PSA 10s, 9s, etc.)
• Sales volume tracking
• Average prices by grade
• All current active listings

We track when listings disappear from eBay (approximately 98% accurate for detecting sold listings). Our relist detection system identifies when the same card is relisted, ensuring accurate sales history. The system has been tracking thousands of listings to build comprehensive market data.

We automatically track 70 of the most popular cards across all four sports (including players like Shohei Ohtani, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and Wayne Gretzky). This creates a shared database of pricing and sales data that benefits all users, even before they create their first alert.

The CAPTCHA helps us prevent spam accounts and automated bot registrations, ensuring the service remains fast and reliable for real users.

Yes. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted passwords, secure database connections, and HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. We never share your email address or personal information with third parties.

We use eBay's official Browse API, which is stable and supported by eBay. If they make changes, we'll update our system accordingly to maintain service continuity.

Yes! Sports Card Alerts is fully mobile-responsive and works great on phones and tablets. All features including creating alerts, viewing analytics, and managing notifications work seamlessly on mobile devices.

First, check your spam/junk folder. Add notifications@sportscardalerts.com to your contacts to ensure delivery. Also verify that your alert notification frequency isn't set to "Paused." If you're still having issues, contact support.

This could mean:

• Your search criteria are too specific (try removing some filters)
• There are currently no active listings matching your criteria
• The player/year/set combination may have a typo
